50 years of Television in Australia
In September 2006, Australia celebrated 50 years of television. The Sydney Olympic Games opening ceremony was at #25 in TV Week's list of TV's 50 Most Memorable Moments, #9 on a list by The Age, and was also included on the program TV Turns 50: The Events That Stopped A Nation.
On 13 August, 2006, Nikki appeared in an episode of the program Where Are They Now?, catching up with the stars of the Sydney Olympics six years on.
1st Anniversary - September 2001
In the Sydney Morning Herald article Webster Inc: The Olympics Were Child’s Play, published September 8, Deborah Cameron interviewed Nikki and her family about how their lives had changed in the year since the Olympics.The opening ceremony was repeated on Channel 7 for the one year anniversary.
