Peter Casey, Wizard Of Oz musical director
"She is such a professional. She’ll give the same amount of effort, thought and application as an adult twice her age. She's a phenomenal performer." (2001)Doug Parkinson, Wizard Of Oz co-star
"She's a gorgeous, I'm not even going to say kid because she's so mature, she's great, absolutely wonderful." (2001)John Frost, Wizard Of Oz producer
"She's 14 going on 40 and I say that in the most positive sense, and it was important when we cast her that she'd be available to do eight performances a week, not just four.""It's a fearless talent. This kid just walks in and takes over and just commands the stage."
"There are fans out there and there are people who don't like her. The shadowy ones will be very surprised."
Ken Mackenzie-Forbes, Wizard Of Oz producer
"We have built the show around one particular shining star, who is one of the most famous children in the world - Nikki Webster, who ignited the imagination of millions with her appearances at the Opening Ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. To viewers all around the world, Nikki was Australia, and we are delighted she is playing Dorothy - a role that fits her as comfortably as ruby slippers!"Dancing With The Stars co-stars
"I hadn't had much to do with Nikki before this event (Dancing With The Stars). Let me tell you, I am the biggest Nikki Webster fan. That girl is so honest and so truthful. I love 'er! She, honestly, she should be on a five dollar note!" - Ian Roberts"I think we get on well because of our age group. The bonus was that my dance partner Trent [Whiddon] and her dance partner Sasha [Farber] are good friends, so we became close." - Sara-Marie Fedele
"I've three sisters at home, so Nikki is another one to add to my little sister pack." - Sara-Marie Fedele
"She's such a strong person without even realising it. We met four years ago when I was in the first series of Big Brother. And when we came on this show [Dancing With The Stars] we started to hang out because we had the same schedules. I think lots of people judge those in the industry without giving them a fair go. I always give myself the opportunity to get to know people and you usually find that they are totally the opposite of what I've been told." - Sara-Marie Fedele
"I just love Nikki, too. I think she's a wonderful girl who's had an extraordinary life and she's so level-headed. She charges up the frontline and stands up to people. She's a champ. I think the Australian public is going to see a lot more of Nikki in many different styles." - Tom Williams
Ross Fraser, managing director of Gotham Records
"It's an old fashioned word but she is an entertainer. She's a trouper. Nikki has a desire to do well." (2001)"We can't get her to do what she doesn't want to do. We'll all watch her grow up." (2001)
Lisa Hamilton, Nikki's former manager
"I get angry when people put her down. If only people knew how talented Nikki is, her beautiful voice, her dancing, her bravery and inner strength ... I've never seen anyone so dedicated and hard-working. She deserves to be one of our greatest stars, and I think she will be." (2006)"I always defer to her parents and they talk to Nikki. Because Nikki's a minor, I'm very sensitive to the fact that her parents need to be involving her in the decision. I don't want Nikki to wake up when she's 18 or 19 and say, 'Nobody gave me control'. That won't happen." (2001)
David Campbell
"She's going somewhere fast but she's a good kid who deserves it. She works her guts out." (2002)Lauren Waterworth
"I've seen her video (Strawberry Kisses) and I think she's great. I hope I get to meet her someday. You are going to get me into trouble but if it was a chart battle between Australia and Britain, I would say Britain! There was this magazine article that I was reading about Nikki and me and it said I was sugar-coated candy floss and that she was a diva, so everyone's got different tastes."Ian Roberts
Who magazine, 20 April 2005It was a pretty intense environment you were in for three months [on Dancing With The Stars].
It has been really intense. Obviously someone got eliminated every week and you can't help but form friendships and bonds with people. When Nikki went, I was gutted. That girl is an angel. Then I felt terrible because I actually went and said something to (judge) Todd McKenney (who said he "hated" Nikki's routine), and I had no right to say that. The man is so entitled to his opinion.
What did you say to him?
That I respect all that he's done in the profession and his career speaks for itself, but as a judge, today you failed as a human being. They were the exact words. That young girl, it's not her fault. To say that he "hated" it ... Hate is a strong word.

Series 2 - "Obsession"Kel: (looking in a magazine) Have a look at her! How does she look so young? She looks like a teenager!
Kath: Oh, Kel! It's Nikki Webster, of course she looks young! She's in show business; she's probably had work.
Da Kath and Kim Code
Kath: Oh Kel, you look gorgeous. You look just like Todd McKenney.
Kel: And you'd make a very respectable Nikki Webster if you grew your hair a bit.
