Nikki Webster has extended support to families impacted by the closure of Chiswick’s RG Dance Studio amidst child abuse charges.

MS Webster is opening up her Stanmore studio Dance@Nikki and offering students of RG Dance Studios two terms of free dance tuition.

“Having worked my way through dance studios and performing art programs as a child I understand the importance of providing a safe and nurturing environment focused on developing a love of the arts,” Ms Webster said.

Her offer comes as Chiswick’s RG Dance owner Grant Davies 39, has had ten charges laid against him in relation to offenses against his young students.

Mr Davies’ studio has closed following the growing sexual abuse allegations against him.

Mr Davies was arrested and charged with grooming a child for unlawful sexual activity, grooming a child under 14 years for unlawful sexual activity; and two counts of producing, disseminating or possessing child abuse material earlier this month.

Six more charges were laid at his court hearing last week where he was denied bail.

“We hope that in some small way our offer of free classes for two terms will provide some light to those whose trust may have been lost and or who have been left out of pocket,” Ms Webster said.
