JUST months after making a splash at the Olympics, 13-year-old Nikki Webster has been named the face of Jager Cosmetic’s “It’s a Girl Thing” range.

The bubbly teen was in the spotlight at last weekend's Australian Offshore Championships in Sydney, joined by hairdressing high roller Stefan to christen his new race boat and launch the cosmetics range.

The range, targeted at young women, includes face powder, lipsticks and eyeshadow and is manufactured in Australia.

Stefan said Nikki was an inspiration to young women and a perfect choice to promote the brand.

"Nikki is ideal for the 'It's a Girl Thing' range," Stefan said. "Her spectacular involvement in the Olympic Games opening ceremony is testament to the idea that you can achieve great things if you set your mind to it."

Nikki is also embracing the new venture with open arms.

"It's great to be part of the 'It's a Girl Thing' range. When I am out and about performing, it's great to wear such fantastic products."

The range will be distributed through clothing retailer Supre, Stefan's chain of hairdressing salons and selected fashion outlets.

A national campaign incorporating POS material is being used to support the launch.
