Nikki Webster shot to fame after her performances at the opening and closing ceremonies at the 2000 Olympics, but a lot has changed since then.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s now a mum-of-two and chatted to Kidspot about her son Malachi\u2019s birth last year, which came as a shock to everyone.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt wasn\u2019t like I was holding it as a surprise, I think it just kind of happened,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cEveryone was so busy and I was so busy with work but it\u2019s going good, my little man is 14 weeks and he\u2019s going amazing,\u201d she gushed.

\nShe owns three dance studios now and explained that his arrival came during peak concert season \u201cso he\u2019s been to a few dance concerts already.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nikki and her husband Matthew McMah are also parents to three-year-old daughter Skylah.<\/p>\n

The Strawberry Kisses<\/em> hit maker absolutely adores being a mum, but admits she couldn\u2019t do it without the support she\u2019s got.<\/p>\n

\u201cI feel very lucky to have one of each,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy parents are huge supporters of me and help me and I couldn\u2019t do it without them so I\u2019m lucky I\u2019ve got good family support in that sense to help look after the kids when I\u2019m working,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

She didn’t know if she could love two kids<\/b><\/p>\n

The mum-of-two worried about how her daughter would cope once the new baby came along, which is something every parent can relate to.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s like I love this kid so much how am I going to love my next kid?\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n

But Nikki hasn\u2019t had to worry about it and admitted Skylah has been \u201camazing\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s been the best big sister in the world, she helps, she changes nappies, she does absolutely everything and I can\u2019t wait for their relationship to grow,\u201d said the proud mum.<\/p>\n

The work life juggle is tough<\/b><\/p>\n

Nikki opened her first dance school the day after her 21st birthday and since then the business has grown to include three studios, with the first about to turn 10.<\/p>\n

She juggles running the business with being a mum and admitted it is hard because you can\u2019t switch off or take a day off, but it\u2019s worth it.<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I think it\u2019s also about what I\u2019m offering to my kids and what I\u2019m showing my kids, that I can be a strong independent woman and I\u2019m building a business and everything I do is for them, for their future,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Nikki’s talents have definitely carried on to her daughter<\/b><\/p>\n

Skylah is definitely her mum\u2019s mini me and Nikki explained she absolutely loves to dance and be on stage performing.<\/p>\n

She believes that as long as kids feel happy and safe they will flourish.<\/p>\n

The message they promote at the studio is \u201ceveryone is unique, everyone is different and it\u2019s about us all working together and having a great time while we do it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nikki is opening the doors to all three studios for kids to come along and do a class for free during their 2018 Open Days later this month.<\/p>\n
